About Us

Teems Transmission Lines Academy is a specialized training institute to provide Transmission Line Construction skill training. The Institute was formed by Teems Charitable Trust with the prime objective of becoming a premier institute for developing and imparting Transmission Line Construction skill training.

Besides skill development and skill upgradation, Teems Academy also focuses on employment generation and Social upliftment.

Need of the Hour

With the growing trend in electricity demand, we need to build huge network of transmission lines in the next few years which would be equivalent to the volume done in the last two decades.

The availability of skilled manpower will be the key challenge for the Transmission line construction industry. We do not have special institutions which can produce so many skilled linesman and engineers immediately to meet the requirements. The requirements are so huge that necessitates massive training arrangements.

With this in mind, Teems Charitable Trust a Nonprofit organization has formed the Teems Transmission Lines Academy during March 2011, in Chennai. The main purpose of Teems Transmission Lines Academy is to impart training in Transmission Line construction methods and practices to the needy persons to fill the demand and supply gap.
